Is it 2021 yet?!?! Seriously, it is 90 more days until this #YearThatShallNotBeNamed is over.
Meanwhile, to avoid the attention of whatever hell/heaven spawned thing we have collectively angered, I'm going to hunker down, make some art, draw peonies and stuff, wear my mask...and avoid other human beings.
Which is why I have chosen not to participate in this year's Eastside Culture Crawl Art Festival. This is the first time since 2014 I will not be participating...and I'm gutted about it. The Crawl has always been one of the highlight of my year.
The last 5 years have been really hard...but 2020 has taken the cake when it comes to the greatest amount of loss and pain. So I am not tempting the fates for the next 3 months. Fingers, toes, tongues and paws crossed, humanity makes it to 2021 with the majority of our lives, limbs, and minds intact.
