New Medium, recycled inspiration

So I've been carving relief blocks and hand printing images based on a photographs I created in times past. I have to admit I'm pretty chuffed at how well they have turned out.

This is my Frederico...he is my handsome boy...my nap/snuggle buddy...my patient photography model..my social butterfly...my kissy face boy....and now my block print muse. He is all kinds of perfect...can you really blame me.

This is based on an image I created while travelling in Cuba in 2011.
