Tanker in the fog

For the last few months I have been obsessed with the giant Tankers in the inlet visible from our home. I love the brightly painted hulls and how they sit like elegant ladies just biding their time. I particulary love the sound of their fog horns in the early mornings or late nights....voices yelling "Hey...You...I'm sitting here minding my own damned business...don't run into me".

So it wasn't a surprise that I had to marry my two loves fog and tankers in an image. We hunted out the perfect spot to shoot the tankers in the water....the fog would cloak and reveal....cloak and reveal the tanker. I think there were a few colourful words uttered. But as luck would have it I got exactly the shot I was hoping for. A brightly coloured hull in the fog.
