Spider in the Window

This girl lives on my studio window. I've been distracting myself from the endless list of Things-To-Do by watching her weave her web for the last week. I envy her determination and tireless effort to get shit done despite the rain. She doesn't mess around, she has things to do, webs to cast, snacks to eat etc etc.

I'm currently going through a rough spell, so I've been isolating and spending about 20 hours a day in bed. But, this hasn't stopped me from stumbling out of bed to my studio to say hello to her. I must just look absolutely nutty, hair all over the place, giant face pressed up to the glass rambling about utter nonsense to this poor spider. Bet you she regrets picking that Crazy Lady's window to build her web.

I'm considering adopting her as she is already functioning as a support animal. The pups,Carmela and Leroy, are both grateful to offload some of that labour...according to them I'm a very needy Mahmah Lady. 🤷🏾‍♀️ I may, possibly, perhaps, need some human contact.
