The Serious Rooster and Funny Chickens

There are songs out there that can turn my day on a dime...and jump blues songs like "Ain't Nobody Here but Us Chickens" by Louis Jordan and his Tammany Five are guaranteed to make me smile, tap my foot and start belting out the lyrics...every....single....time.

I could be having the worst day, just overwhelmed and drowning in all kinds of badness...then one of these tunes comes on and it is an instant infusion of joy and excessive sassiness. The dogs are used to hearing these songs on a loop, having me dancing and serenading them. Its got so Carmela dances along with me when I'm goofing around while listening to them.

This also explains why my other pup is named "Leroy Brown"...coz Bad Bad Leroy Brown by Jim Croce is guaranteed to make me giggle every time.

I know I'm not the only one. I wanna hear about your "joie de vivre" inducing songs in the comments. I'd love to add more to my list.
